Principles For Operating And Managing Sludge Dewatering Machines

1. The processing capacity of the sludge dewatering machine should be controlled within an appropriate range, and adjusted in conjunction with the sludge flow rate, flocculant flow rate, and differential degree to avoid frequent fluctuations in the system and affect the treatment effect due to sudden increase in load, while also achieving greater equipment processing efficiency;

2. If there is a change in sludge concentration, the flow rate and differential speed of the flocculant should be adjusted in a timely manner to ensure the treatment effect and avoid waste; As the sludge flow rate or sludge concentration increases, the tracking of flocculant flow rate increases, and the differential speed correspondingly increases; When the sludge flow rate or sludge concentration decreases, the tracking of flocculant flow rate decreases, and the differential speed correspondingly decreases;

3. Flocculants are not the best, only the most suitable. The type and consumption of flocculants depend not only on the quality of the agent and the matching of sludge properties, but also on the matching of equipment structure type and operating conditions. Only by obtaining the best operating combination of the three can the optimal treatment effect and efficiency be achieved with the lowest consumption of flocculants.

4. The performance of mud biscuits should be determined by combining torque data to determine the optimal range of differential speed values. In principle, lower differential speed should be used as much as possible to achieve better treatment effect and save flocculant consumption without causing centrifuge blockage and meeting processing capacity.

The job that all on-site management and operators need to do is to continuously observe, adjust in a timely manner, and be adept at summarizing, seeking the best and relatively stable perfect cooperation among all possible changes in working conditions. In general, this observation and adjustment should be carried out every 1-2 hours. It is necessary to strictly avoid the situation where the operating parameters of the equipment are persisted for a long time or one shift without any adjustment after startup. Lazy or weak sense of responsibility of on-site operators is one of the main reasons for low long-term operating efficiency, large fluctuations in treatment efficiency, and waste of medicine in the sludge dewatering workshop.

6. Regularly check the dehydration effect of the dehydrator. If the separation liquid (or filtrate) is found to be turbid and the solid recovery rate decreases, the cause should be analyzed in a timely manner and targeted measures should be taken to solve it.

7. Regularly observe the dewatering effect of sludge. If the solid content of the sludge cake decreases, the situation should be analyzed and targeted measures should be taken to solve it.

8. Regularly observe the operation status of the sludge dewatering device, and take corrective measures to ensure normal operation in response to abnormal phenomena.

9. Ensure sufficient flushing time for the dehydrator every day. When the dehydrator listens to the machine, rinse the inside and around the machine thoroughly to ensure cleanliness and reduce odor. Otherwise, it is very difficult to rinse after the accumulated mud is dry.

10. According to the requirements of the dehydrator, regularly observe and inspect the machine for maintenance.

11. Regularly inspect the dehydrator for wear and tear, and replace it if necessary.

12. Timely detect the damage of sand particles in the mud entering the dewatering machine to the filter belt, and replace it in a timely manner when the damage is severe.

13. Make analysis and measurement records.
