Daily Management Precautions For Sludge Dewatering Machines

(1) According to the requirements of the dewatering machine, the sewage treatment equipment should regularly observe the observation items and inspect and maintain the machine. For example, when inspecting a centrifugal dehydrator, attention should be paid to observing its oil tank level, bearing oil flow rate, cooling water and oil temperature, equipment vibration, and ammeter readings. When inspecting a belt press dehydrator, attention should be paid to whether its water pressure gauge, mud pressure gauge, oil gauge, and other operating control instruments are working properly.

 

(2) Regularly check the wear of easily worn parts of the dehydrator and replace them if necessary. The easily worn parts of the belt press dehydrator include rollers, filter cloth, etc., while the easily worn parts of the centrifugal dehydrator are spiral conveyors.

 

(3) After discovering that hard particles such as sand particles entering the mud have caused damage to the filter belt, rotary drum, or screw conveyor, immediate repair should be carried out. If the damage is severe, it must be replaced.

 

(4) The mud water separation effect of the sludge dewatering machine is greatly affected by temperature. For example, when using a centrifugal dewatering machine, the moisture content of the sludge cake in winter is 2% to 3% higher than that in summer. Therefore, in winter, it is necessary to strengthen the insulation of the sludge conveying and dewatering machine room, or increase the dosage of reagents, or sometimes even replace better dewatering agents.

 

(5) Before the dehydration machine is shut down, it is necessary to ensure sufficient water flushing time to ensure the cleanliness of the machine's interior and surrounding areas, and to reduce the possibility of odor generation. Otherwise, if there is mud accumulation and drying on the machine, the bonding strength is very high, and it is very difficult to rinse in the future, which will directly affect the normal operation and dehydration effect of the next dewatering machine.

 

(6) Regularly observe and test the dehydration effect of the dehydrator during dehydration. If it is found that the solid content of the mud cake decreases or the filtrate is turbid, measures should be taken in a timely manner to solve the problem. At the same time, observe whether the operation of the dewatering machine itself is normal, and take timely measures to solve abnormal situations in the sewage treatment equipment to avoid major problems with the dewatering machine.
