What is the machine for separating and filtering

What is the machine for separating and filtering?

The main application areas of centrifuges are dehydration, clarification, concentration, classification, separation and so on. According to different requirements, different centrifugal models can be selected. The essence of dehydration and clarification is the solid-liquid separation of suspension.

Below is LW300 Decanter centrifuge for solid-liquid dewatering/ dehydration/clarification/concentration/classification/separation.

Dehydration is the removal of the liquid phase in the solid phase.

Clarification is the removal of the solid phase in the liquid phase.

Concentration is the increase of the solid phase concentration in the suspension.

Classification refers to the particles with different particle sizes in suspension, which are divided into two groups of particles larger than dkp and smaller than dkp based on a certain critical particle size dkp.

Separation generally refers to the separation of two mutually insoluble liquid phases, if the liquid phase is continuous phase, the two-phase separation is only related to their density; If one phase is a continuous phase and the other is a dispersed phase, it constitutes the separation of the emulsion. The two-phase separation of the emulsion is not only related to the density difference, but also related to the size of the droplets of the dispersed phase, surface tension and other factors, so the separation is difficult.
