Centrifuge Feed Pump Description
The SZ Series Positive Displacement Pump, a single screw pump, is ideal for feeding decanter centrifuges without shearing or agitating drilling mud. Its main components are the screw shaft (rotor) and screw shaft bushing (stator), creating a pressurized capacity due to their special geometry. This design prevents vortex formation and agitation. The pump's shaft is made of stainless steel, and the SZ series offers an option with a complete stainless steel body. The pump can be driven by a coupler or have its speed adjusted using a variable speed motor, Triangle V-belt, gear box, etc. The SZ series positive displacement pump has a compact structure, requiring minimal accessories, and is easy to maintain with easily replaceable wear parts (rotor and stator), making it suitable for high viscosity fluids and those with hard suspended particles.
