On site setup: from to operation
1. Site Assessment and Positioning
Before dispatch, our technical team reviews the job site layout to confirm truck access, parking space near the sludge source, and ground stability for the vehicle. On arrival, the truck is parked as close as possible to the sludge thickener, tank, or pond to minimize suction hose length.
2. Power Connection
If a three-phase electrical supply is available on-site, the system can connect directly. Where no external power source exists, the on-board generator set is started first and allowed to stabilize before any other equipment is powered on.
3. Suction Line Deployment
The sludge suction pump is lowered into the sludge tank, pond, or thickener. The suction hose is connected using the quick-disconnect movable joints, and hose length is adjusted on-site depending on the distance between the truck and the sludge source.
4. Flocculant Preparation
Dry or liquid flocculant is loaded into the dosing system's dissolving tank, where the chemical dissolving mixer prepares a homogeneous solution at the correct concentration before dosing begins.
5. System Start-Up
Once suction lines are connected and flocculant is prepared, the operator starts the centrifugal dehydrator and suction pump from the on-site control box. Dosing rate and pump flow rate are adjusted in the first few minutes of operation to match the specific sludge characteristics at that site.
6. Monitoring During Operation
Operators monitor cake dryness and effluent clarity throughout the run, fine-tuning flocculant dosage as sludge consistency varies. The control box provides real-time indicators for pump status, dosing rate, and any fault alarms.
7. Shutdown and Cleaning
At the end of the job, the suction line is flushed with clean water, the dehydrator bowl is rinsed to prevent residue buildup, and all hoses and joints are disconnected and stored for transport to the next site.
