The frame ships as a single integrated skid so it can be lifted, positioned and connected on an active rig site in one crane pick, and every exposed surface carries explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, weatherproof and shock-resistant treatment to survive outdoor duty on an oil or gas location.
Because this equipment has to run around the clock in a hazardous area, the frequency converter and other electrical components sit inside explosion-proof cabinets with their own heating and ventilation, and the screw pusher is driven through a planetary gear reducer with double mechanical and electrical overload protection for reliable low-speed, high-torque starts. Customers can specify single-motor drive for straightforward duty, variable-frequency dual-motor drive for finer control, or full hydraulic drive where operators need to change drum and pusher speed on the fly; the hydraulic option also senses load changes through hydraulic pressure and can trigger an automatic anti-plugging response if the feed suddenly thickens.
Inside the bowl, the same centrifugal-sedimentation principle used across the Shenzhou decanter range separates barite and other weighting agents from drilling fluid by density, recovering usable mud and heavy solids for reuse while rejecting drill cuttings and fine solids. An involute planetary differential and low-oil-level operation keep running temperature down and torque capacity high, pressure oil-circulation lubrication protects the main bearing, and the fully enclosed bowl prevents vapor and odor release on site. Because rig sites run everything from water-base to oil-base and synthetic-base mud, wetted parts on this centrifuge for oil fields are available in 321 or 316L austenitic stainless, Hastelloy or titanium alloy, and the same platform is also specified for coal-bed methane drilling, drilling-fluid tail-slurry treatment and other solid-phase control duties beyond conventional oilfield drilling.
